So much is riding on the 2020 Census that will affect the Latino community for the next decade, including how much federal resources are allocated to states, cities and even neighborhoods.

2020 Census results also determine how many seats Arizona will have in the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as the number of votes in the all-important Electoral College that decides the U.S. presidency.

It is important for every individual to be counted, regardless of immigration status. All of the information you submit to the US census is confidential. The U.S. Census will not inquire about your immigration status and no other federal agency will have access to your personal information.

Chicanos Por La Causa Action Fund believes the Census is an important avenue to promote political and economic empowerment.

You can also call the toll-free number 1-844-330-2020. A Census representative will ask the survey questions and enter your information into the database.

It only takes about 10 minutes, but your answers will affect the next 10 years.

As of July 9, the national response rate is 62%. Arizona's response rate is at 58.6%.

We're counting on you to be counted.
