Video: Panelists say Arizona's unemployed need economic help NOW

CPLC Action Fund Executive Director Joseph Garcia, who also is Director of Public Policy at Chicanos Por La Causa, was a panelist on a discussion about Arizona's unemployment crisis. The Supporting Arizona Families Roundtable event was hosted by U.S. Senate candidate Mark Kelly.

Other panel participants were Coconino County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Lena Fowler; Sandy Villatoro, a furloughed hotel housekeeper and mother of two children who is afraid of applying for unemployment assistance because of her DACA status; and Meschelle Hornstein, a mother and furloughed restaurant worker wondering how she's going to pay bills during the pandemic crisis.
