Chicanos Por La Causa Action Fund PAC endorses the candidacy of Mark Kelly for U.S. Senator.

“Mark Kelly’s positions on issues important to the Latino community – including education, workforce and economic development, wages, affordable housing, healthcare, DACA and immigration – align with those of CPLC Action Fund PAC. He knows the Latino community has been especially hard by COVID-19, both medically and economically, and that the pandemic has further exposed and even amplified disparities in the Latino and other underserved communities,” said Joseph Garcia, Executive Director of CPLC Action Fund PAC.

Through his outreach efforts, Kelly has gained a greater understanding of the plight being experienced by many people during this crisis, and that government must play a more active role in addressing such challenges to improve the lives and opportunities for all Arizonans in both emergency response and recovery. Kelly praised the continued contribution Latinos have on our state’s collective success, including in owning and operating small businesses. He said politicians should not demonize immigrants because they enrich our nation’s culturally diverse population.
